Our Journey and Mission
The Holy Orthodox Metropolis of Ireland, established in 2024, serves as a beacon of faith for Orthodox Christians across Ireland. Formed by the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, our Metropolis was created to cater to the spiritual needs of the Orthodox community in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Under the leadership of Metropolitan Iakovos, enthroned by Archbishop Nikitas, we are committed to fostering a deep connection with our faith and heritage, guiding our community with compassion and wisdom.
